Requirements
- Current CMA certification (AAMA, AMT/RMA, NHA/CCMA, or equivalent).
- 2+ years of medical assistant or clinical support experience.
- Strong working knowledge of medication terminology, prescriptions, and dosing conventions.
- Experience managing multiple queues and communication channels simultaneously.
- Proficiency with EHRs, scheduling platforms, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work on EST with weekend and evening rotation coverage.
- Professional written communication skills for interacting with providers and pharmacies.
- Ability to handle patient de-escalation and professional patient-facing communication.
- Strong self-direction and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Telehealth, pharmacy, or weight-management/GLP-1 experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own inbound patient escalations including medication issues, replacement orders, and demographic corrections.
- Conduct patient outreach to complete intake/refill forms and collect prior documentation.
- Assign and monitor daily asynchronous provider visit queues.
- Audit prescriptions against encounter documentation to identify dose mismatches.
- Work directly with compounding pharmacy partners to verify and resubmit orders.
- Triage platform bugs and document issues for the engineering/product team.
- Support provider onboarding logistics and maintain licensure/credentialing rosters.
