Requirements

- Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency, including company setup, chart of accounts design, and class tracking.
- Experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients simultaneously across diverse industries.
- Demonstrated experience with construction bookkeeping and job costing.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate, audit-ready financials.
- Self-directed ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines proactively.
- Strong written communication skills for client-facing financial summaries.
- Reliable remote setup with high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete bookkeeping cycle for all assigned clients from daily entry through month-end close and reporting.
- Categorize and reconcile all transactions, ensuring correct coding to accounts, classes, and job or cost centers.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoice processing and customer billing support.
- Maintain job cost tracking for construction clients, including labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and equipment coding.
- Prepare monthly financial statement packages, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Support quarterly and year-end financial reporting and coordinate with external CPAs or tax preparers.
