Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Significant experience building and operating production LLM-backed systems.
- Hands-on depth with agentic systems, including tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, and prompt engineering.
- Strong background in developer tooling (CLIs, build systems, CI/CD, internal platforms).
- Rigorous approach to evaluation, benchmarking, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong Python proficiency (async, typing, Pydantic).
- Systems-level fundamentals including processes, sandboxing, and filesystems.
- Proven track record of technical ownership and working effectively with internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship the runtime for agent teams, including topology, handoffs, and message bus architecture.
- Replace open shell access with typed, versioned, and sandboxed toolpacks for agent interaction.
- Develop evals, benchmarks, and metrics to measure and improve system performance.
- Manage model substrate as a swappable input, tuning context and routing across inference infrastructure.
- Partner with engineering teams to turn workflows into briefs and mentor others on agentic development.
