Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production software.
- Deep full-stack expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and at least one other language (Python strongly preferred).
- Track record of technical leadership as an individual contributor, owning domains and leading multi-engineer efforts.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic systems in production (retrieval, orchestration, tool calling).
- Demonstrated ability to drive ambiguous problems to shipped, measured outcomes.
- Strong cloud-native engineering fundamentals including CI/CD and observability.
- Fluency with relational data and SQL.
- Clear written and verbal communication, specifically in designing architecture and technical docs.
- Experience with agent frameworks and multi-agent architectures at production scale is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with model evaluation, guardrail infrastructure, and working in regulated environments (HIPAA/Fintech).
Responsibilities
- Own technical direction for agent architecture, platform abstractions, or evaluation and guardrail infrastructure.
- Act as tech lead for a squad or cross-team initiative by decomposing ambiguous problems and sequencing delivery.
- Design and build production AI agents incorporating retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, and observability.
- Define shared libraries and guardrails to allow teams to integrate AI capabilities safely and cleanly.
- Partner with product, clinical operations, and business leaders to define use cases and influence the roadmap.
- Measure and improve agent accuracy, latency, and cost-effectiveness through robust evaluation strategies.
- Mentor engineers through code review, design review, and pairing.
