Requirements
- Experience testing applications within Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Understanding of database architecture and performance, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience designing and implementing automated tests for database systems.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Jenkins.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- In-depth experience and proficiency in Linux and Git.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI/LLM tooling to engineering problems.
- Experience working in Agile environments with defect tracking and test-management tools.
- Understanding of Golang and YAML (preferred).
- Passion for open-source database technologies and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Integrate AI into the testing workflow for test generation, flaky-test detection, failure triage, and log analysis.
- Re-architect and profile test pipelines to improve speed via parallelization, sharding, and smart test selection.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) across operators.
- Define and enforce test strategies and quality gates throughout the development lifecycle.
- Build self-service infrastructure to empower the QA team to scale testing processes.
- Research and implement new tools and strategies to improve testing quality and delivery speed.
