Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in site development, land development, or construction management for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects.
- Proven experience carrying projects from entitlement through construction completion.
- Experience working with design-build or EPC contractors under lump sum or similar delivery models.
- Strong understanding of permitting, utility interconnection, and land use processes.
- Ability to make independent routine site decisions while escalating major issues to senior leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams consisting of internal staff and outside contractors.
- Strong communication skills for representing the company with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day execution of assigned AI data center sites in Texas from entitlement through commissioning and turnover.
- Manage the region's Site Readiness function, including surveys, permitting strategy, and early site diligence.
- Lead a blended team of internal staff and outside contractor resources.
- Manage site-level relationships with local jurisdictions, utilities, and landowners.
- Coordinate with internal business units to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
- Act as the primary owner-side point of contact for design-build contractor leadership.
- Manage site-level schedule, budget, and risks while collaborating with Program Controls.
- Verify site standards through collaboration with Quality, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
- Provide status updates to project and executive leadership.
- Build and develop the regional site team, including project managers and assistants.
