Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- 3+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and scaling automation frameworks across UI and API testing.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Solid understanding of performance, scalability, infrastructure, and reliability testing.
- Hands-on experience with microfrontend architectures and databases such as MongoDB and Firebase.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing.
- Experience conducting code reviews and establishing automation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product architecture and design decisions.
- Ability to develop internal tools or solutions that improve QA productivity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality initiatives and establish testing standards and best practices across UI, API, performance, and scalability testing.
- Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve robust test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, helping engineers understand the quality and testing implications of their changes.
- Drive shift-left testing by embedding quality practices early in the design and development lifecycle.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to validate application performance, scalability, reliability, and infrastructure-level quality.
- Provide technical quality expertise across microfrontend architectures and databases such as MongoDB and Firebase.
- Mentor and guide QA/SDET team members, strengthening technical capabilities and automation practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement improvements.
- Optimize and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing for large-scale applications.
