Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel sales.
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing complex, multi-party platform deals.
- Deep familiarity with payroll, HCM, WFM, or adjacent technology ecosystems.
- Strong commercial instincts and ability to structure creative deal frameworks (e.g., revenue share, embedded models).
- Executive communication skills with experience engaging C-suite decision-makers.
- Comfort building a pipeline from scratch and managing self-directed outbound motions.
- Ability to lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
- Background in HR Tech, embedded finance, EWA, or fintech (preferred).
- Experience partnering with WFM platforms in high-turnover verticals (preferred).
- Familiarity with API-based integration scoping and platform marketplace dynamics (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and close net-new resell partners across payroll, HCM, and platform categories.
- Build and maintain a prioritized market map of candidate platforms.
- Negotiate complex resell commercial frameworks and go-to-market obligations.
- Pursue preferred and exclusive partnerships with high-ICP WFM platforms in sectors like hospitality, QSR, and healthcare.
- Structure deals combining co-sell rights with embedded or co-branded product experiences.
- Scope integration requirements with Product and Engineering to translate technical feasibility into commercial terms.
- Lead internal cross-functional alignment across Legal, Finance, and Operations.
