- Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or security operations.
- Understanding of exposure and vulnerability management concepts beyond basic scanning.
- Knowledge of analytics and data science techniques for detection and prioritization.
- Technical architectural awareness to judge feasibility and scope.
- Experience managing products from strategy through shipped outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed, remote-first environment.
- Experience operating across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate with C-suite stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own XDR strategy and delivery across cross-domain detection and response including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
- Lead Elastic's XDR expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, including patch management and remediation workflows.
- Collaborate with the Entity Analytics team to integrate asset criticality and entity context for exposure prioritization.
- Serve as the product voice to senior stakeholders like CISOs and VPs of Security Operations.
- Become the internal authority on the competitive security landscape to drive product differentiation.
- Partner with engineering leads and Security Labs to define requirements and ground scoring in threat research.
- Create roadmap trackers, decision memos, and competitive briefs for internal and customer stakeholders.
