Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations, or similar in-house roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- Deep expertise in P&L analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of SaaS contracting and revenue recognition standards.
- Proven experience managing CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad) and e-billing tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling.
- Ability to translate complex legal and financial concepts into actionable business insights for executive leadership.
- Experience in vendor management and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary liaison between legal, sales, and finance teams to accelerate contract review times and support deal structuring.
- Develop financial models and scenario planning for complex multi-year deals to guide strategic decision-making.
- Manage and optimize the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and other legal technologies.
- Design and maintain negotiation playbooks and standardized contract template repositories.
- Design dashboards to track KPIs including contract turnaround times, legal spend, and deal velocity.
- Oversee outside counsel relationships, billing compliance, and external legal cost management.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline contracting and legal processes.
