Requirements
- 5-8+ years of professional experience in compensation, total rewards, or closely related HR discipline.
- Direct experience managing equity programs and equity administration at a venture-backed or newly-public company.
- Hands-on experience with compensation benchmarking and planning platforms such as Pave or Radford.
- Proficiency with cap table management tools such as Carta.
- Strong benefits strategy experience including renewals, broker management, and plan design.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills with the ability to build compensation models from first principles.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills to work with Finance and Legal teams.
- Ability to translate technical compensation and equity concepts for employees and managers.
- Experience standing up a Total Rewards function from scratch at a similarly-sized company is a plus.
- Familiarity with job architecture and leveling framework design is preferred.
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage Pave end to end including benchmarking configuration, comp cycle setup, and HRIS data integrity.
- Audit current compensation and benefits philosophy to develop a Total Rewards roadmap.
- Maintain and refresh salary bands, resolving outliers by job family.
- Develop and standardize a leveling framework for the organization.
- Design and execute bi-annual merit, promotion, and bonus cycles using Pave.
- Maintain the equity database and lead equity analysis for refresh and promotion cycles in partnership with Legal and Finance.
- Assess geographic pay ranges for a distributed workforce.
- Own benefits strategy including annual renewals, plan design, and new wellness offerings.
