Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in backend, security, or AI/ML related systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Python, Go, or an equivalent programming language, with strong general programming fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with machine learning, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience contributing to production AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, model deployment, inference monitoring, or experiment tracking.
  • Familiarity with building distributed, highly available cloud based systems, preferably on AWS.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to take ownership and deliver well-defined technical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software components that support AI/ML models, agentic processes, and data pipelines.
  • Contribute to the monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of algorithms used in model-based behavioral detectors.
  • Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and threat researchers to integrate AI/ML features into the broader product architecture.
  • Implement well-scoped features and technical improvements with limited guidance from senior team members.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Help identify and address technical debt to continually improve our codebase and technical stack.
  • Stay current on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to contribute to product enhancements.
  • Assist in the documentation of product features, technical specifications, and engineering guides.
  • Support a culture of curiosity, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement
