Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Intermediate-to-advanced SQL experience: ability to write advanced queries using joins, common table expressions, and window/analytic functions
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker, DOMO, or Power BI)
- Basic statistics proficiency: experiment design, hypothesis testing, statistical significance, probability, and distributions
- Ability to translate business intelligence needs from a variety of stakeholders into technical execution and clear presentation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Design and build data models in SQL with a focus on correctness, clarity, and reusability
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track key business metrics and inform decision-making across the company
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer high-priority business questions from stakeholders across the organization
- Collaborate with teams across Carrot to understand their data domains, reporting needs, and success metrics
- Contribute to data quality, documentation, and self-service BI capabilities as the function scales
