Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with business processes and workflows for software development projects.
- 10+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, client management, technical documentation, and requirements review.
- 3+ years of experience working with the Texas version of the Risk-Based Data Management System (RBDMS) Oil & Gas regulatory system.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing workflow and root-cause issues within legacy systems.
- Extensive experience facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe tools (Acrobat).
- Proficiency with prototyping and diagramming tools such as Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, or Axure.
- Experience supporting UAT, training, system implementation, and validation activities.
- Ability to operate independently in a complex, multi-functional environment.
- Must be able to pass required background checks.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document detailed business and technology requirements, including requirements derived through reverse engineering of legacy mainframe systems.
- Analyze business processes and workflows, identify root causes, and recommend improvements that support successful technology implementation.
- Investigate workflows and data across legacy regulatory systems and develop comprehensive documentation and technical specifications.
- Create, update, and maintain functional and design documentation, including diagrams that accurately represent business processes and requirements.
- Facilitate interactive working sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements, technical specifications, and solution expectations.
- Support user acceptance testing by helping business teams develop test scripts, validate system functionality, and prepare for implementation.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet established standards, methodologies, quality expectations, and timelines.
