Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with core AWS services and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
  • Experience using Terraform or a similar Infrastructure as Code technology to provision and manage infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and container platforms, with exposure to ECS, EKS, or comparable orchestration environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud connectivity, including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, and related services.
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or comparable technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab is a plus.
  • Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and microservices architectures is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting security assessments, compliance requirements, or regulated environments such as HIPAA is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support AWS infrastructure components, including VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, and related cloud services.
  • Support hybrid cloud connectivity through technologies such as VPNs, private endpoints, and Transit Gateway, while contributing to high-availability and disaster-recovery capabilities.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform or comparable Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Support infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and develop automation that improves deployment consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Build and operate containerized applications using Docker and support workloads running on ECS or EKS.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and observability capabilities using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Datadog.
  • Partner with engineering teams to support application deployments, infrastructure operations, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing resources.
