Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Datadog, Databricks, and Terraform in production.
  • Proficiency in writing reliable, maintainable software and automation code.
  • Experience operating business-critical production systems, including observability and incident response.
  • Experience improving CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, and internal developer platforms.
  • Knowledge of reliability concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and disaster-recovery planning.
  • Ability to own projects independently and communicate technical tradeoffs effectively.
  • Interest in working with AI technologies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate shared cloud infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Databricks, and Cloudflare.
  • Deliver SRE and DevOps initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, observability, and deployment safety.
  • Build reusable infrastructure modules, automation, and self-service workflows to improve developer experience.
  • Implement SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and error-budget practices for critical systems.
  • Participate in incident response and improve operational outcomes through runbooks and post-incident reviews.
  • Strengthen disaster-recovery readiness through planning, automation, and testing.
  • Improve CI/CD workflows and infrastructure delivery processes.
  • Partner with application and data engineering teams to support workload operations.
  • Optimize cloud efficiency through architecture, capacity planning, and resource management.
