Requirements
- At least 3 years of producer experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record of success in insurance sales and maintaining a book of business.
- Property & Casualty Insurance license required before start date.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with agency management systems, specifically Applied Epic, is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred.
- Excess and Surplus License is a plus.
- Crop Insurance license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, solicit, quote, and sell new business.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing needs are met.
- Analyze client insurance needs to provide customized solutions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and coverage comparisons to clients.
- Stay current on industry trends and policy/regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales and retention targets for insurance products.
