Requirements
- Significant experience leading and executing large-scale internal events, ideally in high-growth or fast-moving environments.
- Demonstrated success planning complex events for 500+ attendees, including multi-day, travel-heavy, and international experiences.
- Strong balance of strategic definition and hands-on operational execution.
- Proven experience in budget management, external vendor negotiation, venue selection, and onsite operations.
- Ability to build scalable playbooks and repeatable systems rather than one-off event planning.
- Strong stakeholder and people management skills to work effectively across teams.
- High bar for quality and attention to detail regarding attendee experience.
- Experience operating in a lean environment requiring direct, hands-on ownership of execution.
- Willingness and ability to travel to support onsite events.
Responsibilities
- Lead Ashby’s internal events strategy, planning, and execution across company and functional offsites, and regional gatherings.
- Own major high-visibility events directly while serving as a senior driver on other programs.
- Oversee vendor selection, management, budgeting, travel coordination, venue planning, production, and onsite execution.
- Build repeatable systems, playbooks, templates, and planning rhythms to scale the events function.
- Manage and support a lean events team and clarify ownership across programs.
- Partner cross-functionally with People, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Workplace teams to align on goals and event experiences.
