Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in insurance licensing, contracting, carrier relations, compliance, or agency operations.
- Experience managing multi-state licensing requirements.
- Experience working directly with insurance carriers and producer appointment systems.
- Knowledge of ACA, ICHRA, Medicare, or Individual Health insurance markets is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with strong Excel skills for reporting and tracking.
- Ability to navigate and manage multiple carrier portals and certification platforms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track resident and non-resident producer licensing, renewals, and lines of authority across all states.
- Coordinate carrier contracting and appointments for ACA, ICHRA, and ancillary business lines.
- Oversee marketplace certification processes including FFM, SBM, and AHIP requirements.
- Lead producer onboarding processes, including contracting, appointments, and access management.
- Act as the primary operational contact for carrier relationships and resolve appointment or contracting escalations.
- Manage producer transfers, agent-of-record processes, and agency hierarchy changes.
- Maintain electronic producer records, E&O coverage documentation, and ensure audit readiness.
- Provide regular reporting on licensing, appointment, and certification status to track operational bottlenecks.
