Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Expertise in internal controls.
- Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and deferred revenue.
- Proven track record of building accounting processes in an early-stage environment.
- Ability to build financial models and automate workflows.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Experience with venture-backed startup accounting is a plus.
- Experience with external audit or diligence preparation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close to deliver GAAP-compliant, board-ready financials.
- Manage revenue recognition for subscription and usage-based models.
- Maintain a scalable, well-documented general ledger.
- Run and automate AP, AR, customer invoicing, collections, and expense management.
- Manage tax compliance and coordinate with external audit, tax, and legal partners.
- Build and enforce internal controls and ensure audit readiness.
- Define and own the AI-native finance tool stack.
- Hire, mentor, and scale the accounting team.
