Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Registered Nurse degree.
  • Current state license for Registered Nurse.
  • 7 to 9+ years of experience in oncology, Patient Access, market access, or pharmaceutical patient service programs.
  • Proven experience supporting specialty or oral oncology launches.
  • Deep understanding of payer dynamics, specialty pharmacy and distribution models, and reimbursement processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Adverse Event (AE) reporting.
  • Strong skills in communication, compliant documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic, independent worker mindset.
  • Ability to travel as needed to home office and external meetings or conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact to manage individual patient cases and overcome access/financial barriers.
  • Handle benefit verifications, prior authorization delays, denials, appeals, and pharmacy routing issues.
  • Execute transition of Expanded Access Program (EAP) patients upon FDA approval.
  • Manage standardized escalation frameworks with Field Reimbursement Teams and insurance providers.
  • Maintain contact with patients and providers from enrollment to closure, ensuring compliant documentation.
  • Monitor patient cases for delays and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with third-party hubs, pharmacies, and internal teams to maintain a one-team mindset.
