Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Affairs, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, policy, or a related area.
- Extremely strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the political process, with experience engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both inside the organization and with clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Teams experience.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients at national, state and local associations to create Calls For Action (CFAs), target lists, and mass emails.
- Contact legislative offices and verify district mapping and shapefiles.
- Track and report metrics including open rates, click-throughs, and participation rates.
- Balance, track and effectively manage multiple projects, competing priorities, requests, and deadlines.
- Create, follow and update project management tracking materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to support advocacy efforts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure advocacy strategies are integrated into broader programs.
- Report on the progress of advocacy campaigns and evaluate their impact to internal and client stakeholders.
