Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools or ex-founder background.
- Experience shipping developer-workflow products (e.g., local tooling, migrations, CI/CD, ephemeral environments).
- Technical depth to analyze code and system behavior with or without AI assistance.
- Understanding of trade-offs in CLI design, schema-only vs. data-rich environments, and branching logic.
- Familiarity with the Postgres ecosystem (migrations, extensions, tooling) is a bonus.
- Ability to work asynchronously and document decisions in writing.
- Demonstrated bias toward action and shipping iterative, testable product improvements.
- Hands-on experience using developer tools to build and maintain personal or project environments.
Responsibilities
- Talk to customers across the full spectrum from indie developers to enterprise teams to identify needs behind feature requests.
- Define a unified workflow across CLI, migrations, configuration, and Git integration.
- Own product launches by setting clear success metrics, thresholds, and post-launch evaluation.
- Manage commercial outcomes, constraints, and provisioning logic for environments.
- Prioritize the roadmap based on enterprise needs, partner platform requirements, and infrastructure scalability.
- Keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned by surfacing dependencies and documenting decisions.
