Requirements
- 12+ years in GTM strategy, commercial strategy, or commercial operations in B2B enterprise software.
- Director+ or VP-level experience in strategy or operations roles.
- Experience building a GTM function, commercial operations team, or integrated GTM motion from scratch.
- Proven track record of leading through influence across Product, Sales, Marketing, Partners, Finance, and IT.
- Fluency in enterprise selling cycles, multi-stakeholder committees, and six-to-seven-figure contracts.
- Hands-on experience with sales compensation design, territory planning, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with Deal Desk, Quote-to-Cash, or pricing operations.
- Strong analytical skills, including market sizing, metric definition, and data-driven planning.
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate credibly with C-suite leadership.
- Proficiency in using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for strategic research and workflow automation.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Chair cross-functional GTM forums to make and commit to commercial decisions.
- Own the prioritized GTM roadmap, target account strategy, and launch architecture for new products.
- Design sales compensation frameworks, annual planning, and customer journey maps.
- Build and lead the Deal Desk function to optimize Quote-to-Cash workflows and discounting governance.
- Manage a team including GTM Directors, Sales Ops, Strategic Planners, and Deal Desk personnel.
- Translate commercial intent into automated, AI-enabled workflows to drive revenue and efficiency.
- Report GTM metrics and commercial performance to the executive team.
