Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in a PR, health advocacy or communications setting.
- Proven experience in healthcare, public health, and/or pharmaceutical communications.
- Pharmaceutical communications (corporate, product) experience required; oncology experience a plus.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of the health and medical landscape and communications practices.
- Proven project and budget management experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.
- Experience with digital and social media strategy.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage client projects including strategies, implementation plans, evaluation mechanisms, staffing, budgets, and timelines.
- Partner with Director or VP to drive development of creative concepts.
- Produce communication materials including memos, press releases, talking points, backgrounders, brochures, presentations, and reports.
- Develop effective digital and social media strategies for clients.
- Oversee media monitoring strategies and analyze coverage for patterns and trends.
- Manage and mentor Associates and Junior Associates, participate in hiring, and conduct staff reviews.
- Develop accurate project budgets and monitor effectively, including invoice distribution and activity reports.
