Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10+ years of IT experience managing delivery and interfacing with key project stakeholders.
- At least 2 years of experience managing cloud data engagements (e.g., data migration, data lake/warehouse builds, data engineering, or data science projects).
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data stacks such as Databricks, Spark, Python, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Zoho Projects, or Redmine.
- Experience implementing and managing Agile engineering project best practices.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
Responsibilities
- Define scope, objectives, and project plans with stakeholders to ensure adherence to timeline, budget, and resources.
- Assemble and lead cross-functional teams of data engineers and data scientists, assigning clear roles and tasks.
- Monitor progress, proactively identify deviations, and implement tracking and reporting mechanisms.
- Establish project governance structures, identify risks, and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Maintain project documentation and promote engineering best practices.
