Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math, or related quantitative field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in FP&A, deal desk, pricing, or credit product finance.
  • Meaningful exposure to credit card or lending economics.
  • Deep understanding of credit economics, including interchange, loss provisioning, and cost of funds.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to build trust and partner effectively with cross-functional Sales and Credit teams.
  • Experience in financial modeling with comfort in ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias for process improvement and proactive problem-solving.
  • Comfort and experience using AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the financial partner to Sales on live credit deals by modeling the full economic stack including interchange, finance charges, and cost of funds.
  • Build deal-level models that capture the full life-of-portfolio economics, including performance as portfolios mature.
  • Partner with Credit Risk and Capital Markets teams to ensure deal models reflect realistic loss assumptions and capital efficiency.
  • Build foundational models for credit products, including monthly volume projections, receivables, and loss curves to support bank partnerships.
  • Model multi-party revenue share structures across program managers, sponsor banks, and networks.
  • Lead deal review meetings with sales leadership to translate complex economics into actionable recommendations.
  • Sharpen the credit-specific deal desk toolkit, including pricing benchmarks and loss-curve templates.
  • Collaborate with the broader deal desk team across debit and prepaid product lines.
  • Experiment with AI to accelerate modeling, scenario analysis, and internal tool development.
