Requirements
- 10+ years of market research experience, primarily on the supplier side in a market research agency environment.
- 3+ years of experience in team management, including hiring and performance development.
- Expertise in leading discovery and scoping calls for complex research projects.
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit both quantitative and qualitative questionnaires from scratch.
- Experience drafting comprehensive research analysis plans.
- Proven ability to create and present stakeholder-ready insights, toplines, and final reports.
- Track record of managing and growing client relationships with Fortune 500 companies.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (early-stage startup experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous research projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize a pod of researchers to drive high performance, quality, and accountability.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for research project challenges and project success.
- Manage team members, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
- Execute complex research engagements and lead discovery and scoping for enterprise clients.
- Partner with the sales team on new business presentations, scoping, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and drive research platform innovation.
- Develop client-specific Research Context Libraries to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
