Requirements
- Mechanical or Technical Trade School diploma or certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Certified Technician or equivalent trade experience.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with industry-standard diagnostic software (Cummins Insite, DDDL, Allison DOC, Wabco Toolbox).
- Must be certified as per state and provincial requirements.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and bending.
- Maintain a laptop computer with necessary interfaces.
- Possess standard hand tools.
- Possess High Voltage (HV) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- HV experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical and mechanic support at various locations for customers.
- Assemble, organize, and maintain all required company reports.
- Communicate openly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate, identify, and report product issues, including supplier components.
- Recommend courses of action to resolve technical problems.
- Assist with controlled testing of components and installations.
- Stay updated with training on vehicle systems to provide OEM-level support.
- Suggest improvements for technical bulletins and maintenance publications.
- Resolve customer problems or complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
