Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology (6+ years experience), Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology (8+ years experience), or HS Diploma/GED (10+ years experience).
- Extensive hands-on experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical power or electrical equipment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in project management using tools such as Microsoft Project or Excel.
- Proven ability to develop and execute technical test plans and produce clear documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for customer engagement and team work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as required by customer and service needs.
- Commitment to high standards of quality, safety, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Execute field service activities including troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and retrofits for critical power equipment.
- Perform diagnostic testing and identify technical issues or operational pain points for customers.
- Create detailed test plans and accurate service reports documenting all activities and findings.
- Coach, train, and provide technical guidance to Associate Field Service Technicians and colleagues.
- Supervise complex site activities and act as a trainer for customers when required.
- Manage material lists and tool preparation for service assignments to ensure quality standards.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for product improvements, service upgrades, or additional business.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality compliance procedures.
