Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in agriculture, agronomy, business, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of field sales experience within the agriculture industry.
- Strong understanding of the agricultural marketplace across South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, and the broader Upper Midwest.
- Strong agronomic knowledge, including familiarity with crop protection products and their practical application.
- Experience working directly with agricultural retailers, key growers, and distributors.
- Experience developing and managing customer relationships across multiple levels of agricultural accounts.
- Experience launching new agricultural products, technologies, or solutions into the marketplace.
- Demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities and generate sales of innovative agricultural products.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and take ownership of business outcomes.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Valid passport and ability to travel throughout the United States and Canada as required.
- Reside within the assigned territory, preferably in South Dakota, Iowa, or Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver portfolio sales objectives across the Upper Midwest territory, with a focus on South Dakota, Iowa, and Missouri.
- Develop and execute retail business plans, sales forecasts, territory strategies, and initiatives to achieve revenue goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with agricultural retailers, wholesale and distribution accounts, and key growers.
- Expand market presence by developing new accounts and increasing adoption of innovative crop protection products.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to launch new products, technologies, and programs for regional crops.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM information regarding customer activity and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and development teams to support commercial strategy.
