Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, alliances or ecosystem roles in software.
- 4+ years working directly on an app marketplace, developer ecosystem or platform partnerships program in a SaaS company.
- Proven track record of closing partnerships and ensuring they go live.
- Commercial ownership of a GMV, revenue, or pipeline target with evidence of hitting targets.
- Strong understanding of commercial structures including revenue share, payouts, referral fees, and co-selling.
- Technical fluency in APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and integration scope.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret install and usage data for performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and executive presence for internal and external leadership interaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and own a pipeline of target partners, from major platforms to boutique tools that serve specific verticals.
- Manage the full partner lifecycle from initial conversation and business case to commercial negotiation, technical scoping, and launch.
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for major partners, including executive-level engagement.
- Define ecosystem strategy by identifying market gaps through data analysis and prioritizing target categories.
- Own marketplace GMV and revenue targets, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
- Develop new revenue levers such as revenue share, paid placements, and bundles.
- Collaborate with GTM and marketing on launch strategies, webinars, and co-marketing efforts.
- Represent HighLevel to the developer and partner community and mentor future team members.
