Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Controls, or a related second-line function.
- Experience within banking, fintech, or a regulated financial services environment.
- Proficiency with GRC platforms and risk assessment methodologies, including inherent and residual risk ratings.
- Experience partnering with regulatory, operational, or third-party risk management teams.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools for monitoring or reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to produce audit-ready documentation and high-impact reports for management.
- CRCM, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships across Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, and Risk departments.
- Maintain and enhance the compliance control framework, including risk-to-control mapping and documentation in GRC platforms.
- Support enterprise compliance risk assessments by maintaining the risk register and facilitating periodic reviews.
- Develop and execute risk-based monitoring activities, including exception reporting and data quality reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and document compliance risks and controls prior to product launches.
- Provide credible second-line challenge on control design, issue remediation, and root cause analysis.
- Prepare reporting for leadership and governance committees highlighting monitoring results and emerging risks.
