Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across billing, collections, revenue operations, or the order-to-cash lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience leading a team.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite for invoicing, AR, and reporting.
- Experience working with Salesforce as a CRM or billing system of record.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GL impacts of billing events.
- Demonstrated experience designing, documenting, and optimizing operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build executive-facing reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based business models (preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or ZoneBilling (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 billing and collections specialists.
- Manage the end-to-end customer transaction lifecycle, including renewals, invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Ensure billing data integrity across NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage customer account reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance and FP&A to support month-end close, accruals, and audits.
- Develop executive-level reports and dashboards tracking collections, DSO, and cash trends.
- Document and refine workflows across the order-to-cash cycle to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, RevOps, and Customer Success on contract lifecycle and billing.
