Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial IT, enterprise technology, strategic portfolio management, or digital transformation.
  • Experience partnering with commercial business functions, ideally in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of omnichannel engagement, content and campaign operations, and field enablement capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead governance without direct management authority.
  • Experience managing complex portfolios with significant cross-program dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical commercial technology ecosystems and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience defining KPIs, value realization frameworks, and executive dashboards.
  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker capable of translating vision into coordinated, measurable execution.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Eastern Time Zone availability preferred for collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Commercial IT leadership to shape enterprise technology strategy and investment.
  • Partner with commercial business leaders to translate strategic priorities into integrated technology roadmaps.
  • Orchestrate a global Commercial Technology portfolio spanning CRM, CMS, marketing technology, analytics, and AI.
  • Align priorities, funding, resources, and cross-functional roadmaps to maintain strategic coherence.
  • Identify and manage portfolio-level risks, resource constraints, and cross-initiative interdependencies.
  • Coordinate execution between capability leaders, architects, delivery teams, and external integration partners.
  • Facilitate enterprise-level decision-making and remove organizational barriers to program success.
  • Establish portfolio governance practices, including steering committees, reporting, and RAID management.
  • Develop and implement a value realization framework and define KPIs for performance tracking.
  • Prepare executive-level portfolio and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
