Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of leadership experience in admissions, call center operations, or healthcare access.
- Prior call center leadership experience.
- Experience supervising remote and/or multi-site teams preferred.
- Experience within behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment preferred.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, reimbursement processes, and healthcare financial considerations.
- Exceptional ability to interpret operational metrics and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to a team of twelve or more admissions professionals and team leaders.
- Coach, mentor, and develop admissions staff through servant leadership principles and performance management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for admissions, inquiry conversion, and customer experience.
- Oversee eligibility and benefits verification procedures to ensure timely access to care.
- Partner with clinical, marketing, and revenue cycle leaders to optimize admissions processes.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and performance improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate departmental training on best practices, payer navigation, and conversion effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for complex admissions cases and referral concerns.
