Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams within a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • 5+ years of experience hiring, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team of managers, analysts, and data scientists.
  • Proven success scaling and managing a centralized or hybrid analytics function supporting diverse business units.
  • Deep understanding of core SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, pipeline velocity, CAC payback, and LTV:CAC.
  • Ability to move fluidly between high-level executive strategy and granular, hands-on technical execution.
  • Experience leading an analytics organization through a major consolidation, restructure, or operating model transformation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the modern data stack including SQL, Python, dbt, cloud warehouses, and BI/visualization tools like Tableau, Hex, or Looker.
  • Foundational understanding of ML modeling frameworks and experimentation design.
  • Experience expanding advanced data science capabilities such as predictive modeling and ML-based forecasting.
  • Practical experience integrating AI tools and automation to accelerate and scale analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the centralized analytics and data science function supporting Marketing, Revenue, Product, and Finance.
  • Define the vision, standards, and operating model for how the Decision Analytics team prioritizes work and partners with stakeholders.
  • Drive a fundamental shift from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary analytics thought partner to senior business stakeholders to deliver high-leverage work.
  • Lead and develop a team of managers, analysts, and data scientists across multiple domain pods.
  • Partner with the Director of Data Enablement to ensure the analytical layer is built on a scalable foundation.
  • Champion AI-forward thinking and integration of automation into analytical workflows.
  • Drive change management for the transition to a centralized analytics model.
