Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in network and systems engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP).
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Proficiency in Juniper and Cisco hardware (routing and switching).
- Experience with networking protocols: BGP, static routing, IP multicast, and VPN technologies.
- System administration experience with MS Windows and Active Directory.
- Experience working in secure facilities and understanding high-side protocols.
- Ability to travel 15-25% CONUS and OCONUS as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio).
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, integrate, implement, test, maintain, and administer infrastructure, hardware, and software.
- Manage network security and risk posture in alignment with organizational security strategy.
- Apply systems engineering principles to translate cyber objectives and environmental conditions into effective solutions.
- Configure cyber systems to meet user requirements and security policies.
- Lead major technology assignments, evaluating performance and recommending improvements.
- Serve as a technical expert across multiple projects with substantial autonomy.
- Mentor and provide supervision to junior employees in technical competencies.
