Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
- At least 5 years of experience architecting secure development practices.
- At least 5 years of experience conducting security code reviews.
- At least 5 years of experience securing coding practices, threat modeling, and/or applying established security methodologies.
- At least 5 years of experience working with applicable compliance regulations and standards, including SOX, GDPR, NIST, and ISO.
- At least 5 years of experience working with cloud computing and cloud security.
- Strong understanding of application security, secure software development, and vulnerability management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate security requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to research and interpret emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder management and engagement for cybersecurity engineering initiatives across multiple levels of the organization.
- Champion cybersecurity standards and assist application and engineering teams in implementing secure development practices.
- Promote security awareness and serve as a cybersecurity advocate across technology and business teams.
- Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate cybersecurity engineering solutions and services.
- Partner with engineering and technology teams to integrate security controls and practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices, security methodologies, threat modeling, and application security architecture.
- Conduct and oversee security code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Monitor, research, and analyze emerging cyberattacks, vulnerabilities, and threat techniques.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives across cloud computing environments.
- Help teams align cybersecurity engineering practices with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
