Requirements
- 6+ years in product engineering, technical product management, or a hands-on hybrid role in B2B SaaS.
- At least 3 years of experience personally building AI or ML-powered features in production.
- Substantive healthcare IT background including work within an EHR environment.
- Working knowledge of healthcare data standards including HL7 v2, FHIR (R4 preferred), and CCD/CCDA.
- Demonstrated experience with HIPAA compliance, PHI handling, and data privacy in regulated healthcare environments.
- Hands-on experience with LLM API integration, RAG architecture design, and vector databases.
- Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, and analytics workflows.
- Strong API design and backend services experience.
- Proven success in direct client-facing roles and technical leadership.
- Must currently reside in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the MedicatOne Product Manager to shape the AI product roadmap using deep technical and domain expertise.
- Translate healthcare provider pain points and EHR workflow challenges into actionable, well-scoped AI product proposals.
- Personally design and write production-quality code for LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and vector search workflows.
- Serve as a senior client contact for strategic conversations and lead discovery sessions with health center leaders.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for AI feature performance, clinical utility, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide hands-on guidance and technical reviews for AI-assisted tools and automations developed by non-engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain company-wide AI acceptable use policies and governance processes.
