Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a Product Manager with a focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, or insights products.
- Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code.
- Strong end-to-end data literacy including models, schemas, lineage, and report generation.
- Ability to read/write SQL to validate results and investigate discrepancies.
- Experience handling data complexities such as joins, aggregations, currency/timezones, and effective dating.
- Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and navigate trade-offs.
- Strong UX sensibilities and a focus on building simple, trustworthy data workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of HR Tech, payroll, finance, or compliance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system including dashboards, exports, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Build empathy for payroll, finance, and HR personas to translate requirements into clear product priorities.
- Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities such as standard reports, GL exports, reconciliation, and auditability.
- Develop intelligent insights experiences using AI, anomaly detection, and proactive recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, and Sales to deliver scalable solutions.
- Establish and track KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, and report accuracy.
