Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of sales experience in healthcare contract manufacturing and/or CDMO services.
  • Established executive-level relationships within pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical device organizations.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex manufacturing and development services including aseptic manufacturing, fill/finish, and packaging.
  • Proven ability to develop and sell integrated, lifecycle-focused CDMO solutions.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing environments and complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation capabilities, and financial forecasting discipline.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% for customer meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a sales strategy aligned with pharmaceutical solutions, CDMO capabilities, drug delivery device manufacturing, and packaging growth objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customers and strategic opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device markets.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive-level customer stakeholders and serve as the primary commercial interface.
  • Lead consultative, value-based sales engagements from prospecting through deal closure.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify priority accounts, develop pursuit strategies, and maximize opportunities.
  • Maintain ownership of customer satisfaction, long-term engagement, and strategic account expansion.
  • Build and manage a disciplined Salesforce pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with revenue objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into scalable manufacturing solutions.
