Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience applying analytics and statistical techniques to solve business problems.
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to generate measurable business value.
- Experience in credit card analytics and/or retail banking analytics is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with one or more analytics and programming technologies such as SAS, Hadoop, R, SQL, Python, or Hive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to translate technical findings into practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with data science communities and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end data analytics projects for clients, translating business challenges into actionable analytical strategies and solutions.
- Develop and support credit card portfolio strategies using client data, payments data, third-party sources, and other relevant datasets.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify opportunities for growth, profitability, customer acquisition, engagement, and portfolio management.
- Act as a data analytics advocate with client and partner teams, advising stakeholders and sharing relevant analytical methodologies, best practices, and case studies.
- Explore new data sources, analytical tools, technology platforms, infrastructure, and potential analytics partnerships to strengthen solution capabilities.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations and compelling data-driven narratives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, statisticians, consultants, and other specialists to deliver high-impact solutions.
