Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating, scope development, and proposal writing.
- Proven ability to craft clear and persuasive commercial bid proposals.
- Hands-on experience with Contractor Foreman or similar platforms.
- Direct experience using PlanHub for ITB management.
- Proficiency in digital takeoff tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or STACK.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- USB headset with noise cancellation.
- Working webcam.
- Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM, plus a backup computer.
- Main internet speed of at least 25 Mbps (wired) and backup internet speed of at least 10 Mbps.
Responsibilities
- Draft professional bid proposals, scope sheets, and project qualifications.
- Perform detailed material and labor quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and PDF plans.
- Manage the Invitation to Bid (ITB) process using PlanHub.
- Develop line-item estimates and change order documentation in Contractor Foreman.
- Conduct subcontractor outreach, collect quotes, and perform bid leveling.
- Identify plan ambiguities and coordinate RFI logging and responses.
- Maintain the company bid calendar and subcontractor databases.
