Requirements
- 10+ years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Partnerships experience.
- 2+ years of cross-functional leadership on partnership projects and teams, including legal and engineering.
- Experience with consumer internet or user-facing software business.
- Understanding of the AI/LLM ecosystem and how AI capabilities are integrated into consumer products.
- Significant experience leading complex product partnerships end-to-end, from identifying opportunities through deal closing.
- Self-sufficiency in commercial details, including drafting terms, building financial models, and pressure-testing deal structures.
- Experience managing a portfolio of complex strategic partner relationships.
- Ability to build trust quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be located in the US or Canada.
- Must be available for video conferencing meetings.
- Ability to travel at least twice a year for company meetups and retreats.
Responsibilities
- Lead DuckDuckGo’s most complex product partnerships and drive strategy.
- Source, negotiate, and scale high-impact deals that materially enhance the entire portfolio of products including search, Duck.ai, and privacy subscriptions.
- Structure deals from 0-to-1, including defining product, economics, and strategic value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Finance to execute partnerships.
- Manage a portfolio of competing and complementary partner relationships while navigating shifting market dynamics.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships to drive product enhancement and user engagement.
