Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience between law firms and fast-paced in-house roles.
- Significant in-house experience, including managing litigations and other disputes.
- Senior legal experience at a high-growth company.
- Deep healthcare experience, specifically with infrastructure, payers, providers, or health tech.
- Alternatively, deep experience in another heavily regulated, high-complexity industry (e.g., financial services, payments, insurance).
- JD and membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Ability to act as a generalist solving problems across various domains.
- Business-oriented mindset to wield legal expertise in furtherance of company strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regulatory and legal strategy to deepen Stedi's relationships with payers.
- Lead competitive and enforcement matters, defending and advancing Stedi’s interests.
- Build the legal framework for novel data products that operate in complex regulatory areas.
- Identify growth opportunities, accelerate deals, and remove blockers using legal and regulatory expertise.
- Own the full scope of legal functions including contracts, disputes, compliance, IP, employment, corporate governance, and fundraising.
- Partner directly with the CEO and board on strategic business decisions.
