Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Compensation role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or MS Excel.
- Experience with automated sales commissions systems (e.g., Xactly, Captivate IQ, Varicent, Everstage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience at a high-growth technology company or company with 500+ employees is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of process improvements made through AI is an ideal qualification.
Responsibilities
- Administer sales variable payments, including commissions, draws, MBOs, and SPIFFs.
- Ensure consistent application of commission plans and manage exception requests.
- Maintain sales comp plan document templates and execute distribution.
- Address commissions inquiries, adjustments, and corrections.
- Validate accrual and payment results for assigned segments and provide insights on variances.
- Document and maintain business processes for monthly/quarterly close, accounting, and audits.
- Support participant setup and perform SOX compliance audit controls.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing for configuration changes in sales incentive tools.
- Contribute to process improvements to scale operations.
