Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related programs) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an object-oriented programming (OOP) language (preferably Python)
- Passionate about CI/CD pipelines
- Previous experience using cloud resources (e.g. on AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Comfortable developing in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Experience with shell scripting
- Worked on a team distributed across time zones
- Enjoy getting familiar and improving existing code bases and tools
Responsibilities
- Write software that scales - tens of thousands of tasks are run to build, test, and release Firefox every single day
- Collaborate with senior+ engineers to improve the developers’ experience, then implement the improvements.
- Work with a geographically-distributed development team between North America and Europe
- Collaborate with others by requesting and providing code reviews
- Respond to critical service outages (during normal working hours - no on call rotation is required)
