Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in building integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems.
- Experience designing and developing data-centric systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data architecture.
- Strong coding fluency and hands-on experience with modern data/integration tooling (e.g., Dagster, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python and Rails.
- Systems and architectural thinking with the ability to design scalable architecture.
- Experience partnering across product, data, compliance, and security teams.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and building AI-enabled agents and MCP servers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Scrum or Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems that connect Wrapbook to accounting, ERP, and other third-party and AI-enabled systems.
- Own integration pipelines and SLAs end-to-end, ensuring data moves reliably between systems with clear expectations and well-defined metrics.
- Define and manage data contracts that prevent upstream changes from breaking downstream integrations and analytics.
- Pitch in at a code level, execute tickets, and take ownership of critical customer data issues.
- Work with cross-functional partners to build secure, compliant, and seamless integration experiences.
- Provide technical direction through design reviews and pair programming.
- Stand up observability across integrations to monitor system health and troubleshoot quickly.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production integration systems.
