Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real property, including research of legal documents or preparation of legal documentation.
  • Knowledge of federal government real property procedures and Air Force guidance.
  • Ability to complete AFIT Real Property Management Course WMGT 424 within 12 months.
  • Experience with real property inventory management, data analysis, reporting, and compliance.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and projects independently.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government identification and installation access credentials, including DBIDS.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete background checks and drug testing.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with up to 80% travel possible.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex real property functions related to the acquisition, management, accountability, use, and disposal of government real property.
  • Maintain real property inventories, records, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Reconcile real property records annually with agencies occupying Air Force-controlled facilities.
  • Execute Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) activities and Existence and Completeness actions.
  • Process leases, permits, easements, and licenses in accordance with Air Force guidance.
  • Conduct annual compliance inspections for real property grants and update records.
  • Coordinate with environmental, legal, and base stakeholders to resolve property issues.
  • Prepare key supporting documents, reports, and briefings for audit support.
  • Research property histories to analyze issues and provide corrective recommendations.
